Sfärisk - Kaspar Kuoppamäki / Fringify - Independent Arts Festival Hamburg

Sfärisk is an interdisciplinary musical and visual performance that aims to dissolve traditional boundaries between musical categories and between high culture and subculture and to create a space for new sonic and social perspectives. At its core, the project combines influences from black metal, drone and ambient with elements of contemporary music, spatial sound design and an intense visual and atmospheric level. The drums take center stage as a sculptural object - fast blast beats are hypnotically pervasive, while a gentle surface of electronic sounds, vocals and wind instruments form the harmonic foundation.
